随着旅游业开发的进一步深化，过去低估的旅游环境影响．包括自然和社会环境的影响，已受到国际社会的重视。少数民族传统文化和习俗是民族旅游的主要吸引物。只有在开发这些资源的同时重视对这些资源的保护，才能保证民族旅游的可持续发展。而这需要对民族旅游业给这些民族社区带来的多重影响进行一定的分析和研究。文章结合个人的一些经验体验和别人的资料，对我省民族旅游给民族地区的社会带来的各种影响作了介绍，分析了影响的性质及原因，指出民族旅游的健康持续发展，必须建立在当地社区的根本利益基础上。因为只有这样，才能使当地社区文明得以持续发展下去．民族旅游业发展所需的资源也才能被持续不断地利用，从而使民族旅游业本身可以持续发展下去。
